Job description for Database Administrator at Pt Amber Solusi Internasional
We are currently looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and support our database systems, with a strong focus on database migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain database systems to ensure performance, availability, and security.
- Plan and execute database migration activities, including data transfer, validation, and system cutover.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability.
- Perform database backup, recovery, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database environments.
- Work closely with developers and infrastructure teams during system implementation and deployment.
- Document database configurations, migration processes, and technical procedures.
- Provide technical support and recommendations for database optimization and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in database migration, upgrade, or data consolidation projects.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Good understanding of database backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Have decent English.
- Willing to work full WFO in Jakarta.
