Are you an analytical mind with a flair for machine learning and data analysis? PT Neural Technologies Indonesia is in search of a Data Scientist with a background in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. With expertise in machine learning algorithms, data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI, and strong scripting skills in Python, you’ll be pivotal in extending our data capabilities and solving telecommunication industry use cases.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
3. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable
4. Great communication skills
5. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, GGplot, etc.
6. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL.
7. Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
8. Good scripting and programming skills such as Python.
9. Data-oriented personality.
10. Having knowledge of Telecommunication Industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

1. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
2. Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
3. Extending the company’s data with third-party sources of information when needed
4. Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
5. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
6. Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
7. Solving use cases related to the Telecommunication Industry
