Responsibilities
We are looking for a great and proficient Data Scientist. You will be one of the key contributors in our organization and develop high quality system solution following well-known workflows and best practices. Being our developer, you will focus to:
- Implement and maintain the codes and scripts to automate tasks, and improve efficiency
- Perform analysis for various datasets, such as fundamental data, news, social media, etc.
- Create analysis reports
- Assist on ad-hoc projects related to exploratory analysis, maintenance and validation of existing models, or testing frameworks
- Provide technical support on related issues, including diagnosing root causes of technical problems and proposing solutions
The selected candidate will help support a next-generation, scalable, fault-tolerant, global online platform for quantitative financial modeling. Our next stage of growth includes expanding the global footprint of our web-based simulation engine, creating this new opportunity
Essential Skills
- Good programming skill using Python
- Knowledge of data structures, and algorithms with complexities
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming language
- Experience in Bash scripting (UNIX/LINUX)
- Should be able to write clean, scalable codes
- Good logical thinking and critical thinking in handling process and requirements
- Be dedicated and self-disciplined with a strong work ethic and be willing to help others
