Data Engineer Intern

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Data Engineering Intern to assist in gathering, automating, and organizing data from diverse sources to support AI initiatives and analytics. This role will also involve creating dashboards for data visualization, collaborating with full-stack developers, conducting research to explore innovative data engineering solutions and assisting other teams for using tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data & Automation:

• Assist in gathering data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and web scraping
• Design and implement automated workflows for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and accessibility across platforms.

3. AI and Analytics Support:

• Prepare and process datasets for AI and machine learning projects.
• Collaborate with the AI team to ensure seamless data integration into models.

3. Data Visualization & Reporting:

• Create dashboards and reports using tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly).
• Present actionable insights to stakeholders through intuitive visualizations.

4. Collaboration:

• Work with full-stack developers to integrate data pipelines and visualizations into applications.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on project goals and technical requirements.

5. Research & Development:

• Explore and evaluate emerging data engineering tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Research optimization techniques for data pipelines, storage solutions, and processing speeds.
• Stay updated on trends in data engineering, AI, and big data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Having a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) or libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly).
• Understanding of ETL processes and concepts.
• Exposure to APIs and working with structured and unstructured data.
• Basic Knowledge of Cloud system (Google Cloud preferred)
