Job description for Data Engineer / Data Scientist (Banking) at PT Avows Technologies
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT industry.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration.
- Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts and tools.
- Experience working with IBM DataStage, IBM InfoSphere CDC (IIDR), or similar ETL/Data Integration tools.
- Knowledge of data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka and Kafka Connect.
- Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data pipeline development.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with data quality validation and reconciliation.
- Background in banking or financial services projects.
- Exposure to Data Science, Machine Learning, or data analytics projects.
