Job description for Data Center Technician at Pt Wowrack Indonesia
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware issues involving servers and network components (RAM, CPU, disk, chassis, and networking devices) to minimize downtime
- Assemble and configure servers according to project requirements, including component preparation, testing, and reporting assembly results
- Provide technical support for co-location customers and assisting with technical requests when needed
- Document issues and resolutions accurately in the designated system
- Maintain inventory records for hardware components, including equipment installation, replacement, and stock movements
Requirements
- Education in Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical, or related fields
- Experienced in troubleshooting network and hardware issues, including monitors, switches, routers, and other server-related technical equipment
- Experience with operating system configuration is a plus
- Willing to be based in Surabaya and open to business trips if needed
- Able to work in a 24/7 rotating shift system (including nights, weekends, holidays)
