Job description for Data Analyst at Tamtech International
We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our team for a Smart City Enterprise Architecture project. In this role, you will serve as the core specialist responsible for identifying, structuring, and analyzing data requirements to support a unified digital ecosystem. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical partners to ensure that data management is consistent, secure, and integrated across all six smart city domains, including Smart Governance, Transportation, and Living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and structure data requirements across all Smart City domains; translate business needs into data specifications aligned with EA principles.
- Assess current data landscape, including data sources, data quality, ownership, and integration gaps across Smart City ecosystem.
- Develop structured data mapping across entities, systems, and domains; classify data based on sensitivity, ownership, and usage.
- Define data quality metrics, validation rules, and governance considerations to support enterprise data architecture.
- Support development of analytical models, data flows, and logical data structures to inform architecture design.
- Analyze data exchange requirements and interoperability needs across applications and external stakeholders.
- Support identification and validation of data-driven use cases across 15 Smart City features.
- Produce dashboards, charts, and analytical summaries to support decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide data inputs and validation for Business, Application, and Technology Architecture layers under TOGAF framework.
- Document all data-related findings, assumptions, and outputs in alignment with project reporting standards.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Architect, or in a similar role focused on data-driven decision-making and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles; familiarity with the TOGAF framework (specifically the Data Architecture layer) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in data management including data mapping, classification, and defining data quality metrics or validation rules.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data requirements across complex domains and translate them into technical specifications without over-complicating design.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in requirement gathering and presenting insights through data visualization (dashboards and charts).
- Experience in smart city, digital governance, or large-scale data integration projects is a significant plus.
- Technical familiarity with data monitoring tools (e.g., Google Cloud monitoring) and reliability metrics (SLIs/SLOs) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site (hybrid arrangement) at project locations (IKN/Jakarta) for strategic alignment and stakeholder validation workshops.
