The Pastry Associate is responsible for executing the daily production of high-quality baked goods and pastries at the outlet level. This role ensures that all products are
prepared, baked, and presented according to standardized recipes while maintaining strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols. The Pastry Associate plays a vital
role in maintaining product availability through a rigorous baking schedule and ensuring a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and weigh ingredients for fillings and toppings accurately.
Follow step-by-step standardized recipes for filling preparation.
Adhere to the strict Baking Schedule to guarantee fresh products and products availability throughout the day.
Preheat ovens and equipment as required and bake products at specified times and temperatures.
Maintains cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the kitchen area throughout operations, as well as tools and equipment.
Ensures sufficient stock levels and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
Ensure all products meet BAKED. quality standards.
Assist in regular taste tests and visual inspections.
Communicates clearly with team members to ensure alignment during daily operations.
Assist FOH and Kitchen team for reheating baked goods using BAKED. Reheating standard.
Completes assigned learning modules, including BAKED. Silo Academy, within required timelines.
Applies learning outcomes consistently during daily operations.
Job Specifications:
Minimum Senior High School
Hospitality or Pastry Arts background preferred) or equivalent.
Proven at least 1 year experience in a bakery or pastry production role within a fast-paced environment.
Has an extensive knowledge of pastry, bakery, or other baked goods.
Ability to prepare pastry according to recipes and SOP standards.
Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
Able to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow production flow.
Communicates clearly with team members.
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work in a team-based environment.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
