Customer Service (Import) – Shipping Line
Job Description:
- Handle import shipment processes for container shipping line.
- Prepare and submit import manifest filings to Indonesian Customs (Bea Cukai).
- Process manifest amendments (Perubahan Manifest) in accordance with regulations.
- Coordinate with Port of Loading (POL), agents, and related stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding import shipment status and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with shipping line procedures and customs regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Import Customer Service within a Shipping Line company.
- Strong understanding of import procedures for container shipping lines.
- Experienced in Manifest Filing (Bea Cukai) and Manifest Amendment (Perubahan Manifest).
- Experienced in coordinating with POL (Port of Loading) and overseas agents.
- Familiar with Indonesian customs regulations and import documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
