Job description for Customer Service Representative at Flokq

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative with a strong customer happiness and solutions mindset to join our team. This is a 100% remote role at the moment, but we reserve the right to transition to an office location in Yogyakarta in the future.

Role Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline of our customer interactions, ensuring seamless communication, problem resolution, and an exceptional customer experience. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues with a customer-first approach, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance service quality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage with customers via chat, email, and calls to provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Demonstrate empathy and proactive problem-solving to handle escalations and complex customer concerns.
  • Negotiate and resolve conflicts to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) while ensuring flexibility to adapt to unique customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, and tech) to enhance customer experience.
  • Stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 0-2 years of experience in customer service, operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in property technology, hospitality, travel, real estate, or luxury service industries is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written), with the ability to de-escalate and solve issues effectively.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (Chinese, Japanese, or Korean) is a plus.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems proactively.
  • Ability to follow SOPs while ensuring a personalized approach to service.
  • Self-motivated and independent, while being a great team player.
