Job description for Custom Clearance Staff at PT Hyper Mega Shipping
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
- Coordinate with customs authorities and port officials to facilitate timely clearance of shipments
- Verify accuracy of shipping documents and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
- Monitor shipment status throughout the customs clearance process and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
- Resolve customs issues, discrepancies, and queries in a timely and professional manner
- Stay current with changes in customs regulations, tariff classifications, and international trade policies
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field
- Proven experience working in customs clearance, shipping operations, or freight forwarding (minimum 2-3 years)
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and international trade compliance procedures
- Proficiency in using customs management systems and port authority databases
- Reliability and commitment to meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
