Job description for Creative Designer at Sillyco
We are looking for a versatile Creative Designer to join our team in Bandung. You will lead the visual storytelling for our multiple brands, manage distinct brand identities, create illustrations and layouts for social media and print, handle various design tasks, and help with product design and development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and document clear brand guidelines for multiple brands to keep their visual identities consistent.
- Design social media posts, digital ads, web graphics, illustrations, and layouts for different target audiences.
- Design marketing materials, posters, event assets, and product packaging—including preparing print-ready files and coordinating with operational team or production vendors.
- Handle everyday graphic design requests and creative tasks.
- Work with the marketing team to brainstorm, visualize, and prototype new product ideas.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic design, branding, or an agency (exceptional fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Fine Arts, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, digital content, and multi-brand versatility.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva, with a good foundation in typography, color, layouts, and basic print/packaging standards.
- Familiarity with AI design tools (like Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or Canva AI).
- Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, resourceful, and a great team player.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Basic photography and videography skills (shooting and editing content for social media).
- Experience in 3D design or rendering (useful for product prototyping and packaging visualization).
