Job description for Creative & Graphic Designer at Miniletics
OVERVIEW:
Miniletics, a premium Indonesian athletic apparel start-up, is looking for a Graphic Design Specialist to elevate our visual communications. You will play a pivotal role in creating compelling and on-brand designs for banners, catalogs, and marketing materials to inspire small, consistent progress for a better self.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design high-quality banners for web, social media, and print.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and translate them into impactful visuals.
- Ensure consistency in branding across all design outputs.
- Revise designs based on feedback and ensure timely delivery.
- Apply strong layout theory, visual hierarchy, and blocking techniques to design.
- Understand and execute effective color grading and presets for editorial photoshoots.
- Edit and retouch product catalogs and promotional materials to maintain a premium look.
- Take high-quality photos for marketing, catalogs or editorial needs.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Qualities:
- 1+ Year of graphic design, editor experience in a notable brand or agency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Capcut, and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and branding principles.
- Experience in color grading and using presets for editorial and commercial photoshoots.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualities:
- Previous experience in e-commerce or apparel branding.
- Experience as an editor in wedding photography or similar high-end photography projects.
- Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is a plus.
- Photography skills, with an understanding of lighting and composition, are a strong advantage.
