Role Description The Country Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Semarang. This role oversees all country-level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting aligned with Wagon Group’s global standards. The Country Finance Manager works closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making, monitors financial performance, and ensures compliance with local regulations and internal policies. Daily responsibilities include managing accounting processes, supervising month-end and year-end closing, coordinating audits and tax filings, and optimizing financial controls and procedures. The role also involves leading and developing the local finance team, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and supporting cost efficiency and profitability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with audit coordination, tax regulations, and internal control implementation.
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with ERP or financial systems.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment, preferably in a country finance or senior finance role.
- Fluency in English and local language, with the ability to work on-site in Greater Semarang.
