Job description for Cost Control Staff at Borneo Pasifik Global
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in cost control, cost analysis, or related financial roles.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze financial data, identify cost trends, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Proficiency in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure projects or operations remain within budget.
- Familiarity with financial software, spreadsheets, and accounting tools such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, or specialized cost control software.
- Exceptional attention to detail to accurately track and report on costs and expenses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present financial information to management, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Control the cost of each purchased item.
- Calculate and analyze the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Analyze stock variances.
- Control and reduce waste.
- Participate in stocktaking and prepare stocktaking reports.
- Prepare data and reports to be used by the accounting department to create financial statements.
- Input and verify that documents have been accurately entered without omissions.
- Update and input recipes into the system.
