As a Copywriter Intern in the Local SEO Division, you will contribute to improving the online visibility of businesses through engaging, SEO-focused content. This role offers practical experience in Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization, short-form SEO copywriting, and performance reporting, helping clients strengthen their digital presence and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create short-form copy for Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization.
- Write concise SEO-friendly content to improve local search visibility.
- Ensure all content follows Google’s local SEO best practices and maintains a consistent brand voice.
- Support basic keyword research for optimizing GBP posts and local content.
- Track performance metrics and prepare weekly reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, though candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong writing and editing skills, along with a genuine interest in learning SEO principles.
- Ability to produce concise, engaging, and persuasive copy tailored to local SEO strategies.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profile, digital marketing trends, and SEO tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team, exchange ideas, and apply feedback to improve content quality.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
