About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook Helper to join our team at PT Sedap Satu Hati in Surabaya, East Java. As a full-time Cook Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality meals to our customers.
What you'll be doing
Assist the head chef and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of a variety of dishes
Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitising equipment and surfaces
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Support the kitchen team in meeting production targets and serving customers in a timely manner
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your culinary skills
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Cook Helper or similar kitchen support role is preferred
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
A passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
