As a Cook Helper Daily Worker at The Summit Club Jakarta (PT. Mitra Konsep Nusantara), you will support the kitchen team with various tasks essential for efficient food preparation and service. Your role is crucial in assisting cooks, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Help assemble and cook dishes according to recipes and instructions from the Cook.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas, including washing dishes and utensils.
- Ensure proper cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment and tools
- Assist with managing and replenishing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Help receive and store food deliveries, ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations for safe food handling and preparation.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Support the Cook and other kitchen staff during busy periods and special events.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Cook or Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications :
- Male
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Experience with food preparation, handling kitchen equipment, and basic cooking techniques is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexible hours including weekends and holidays may be required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment.
