About the Role
We are looking for a Content Specialist who is creative, hands-on, and detail-oriented to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for turning content ideas and strategic topics into engaging, high-quality content — from scriptwriting and content planning to shooting, editing, and basic visual production.
You will work closely with the Social Media Manager and internal team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with our brand identity and communication goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Development & Scriptwriting
- Transform high-level content pillars and topics provided by the Social Media Manager into detailed scripts, storyboards, and comprehensive content briefs.
- Develop engaging and audience-appropriate content concepts for short-form video and social media platforms.
- Write clear, engaging, and professional English and Indonesian captions, copy, scripts, and hashtags.
- Adapt content and messaging based on different audiences, platforms, and communication objectives.
2. On-Location Shooting & Content Capture
- Plan and execute basic photo and video shoots using smartphones or basic camera equipment.
- Capture content for doctor interviews, product showcases, educational content, company activities, and brand events.
- Ensure footage and visuals are properly captured according to the creative direction and content requirements.
- Assist with basic production planning, including shot lists, locations, and shooting schedules.
3. Video Editing & Visual Production
- Handle day-to-day short-form video editing for platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Produce videos with clean cuts, subtitles, transitions, music, and appropriate trending audio.
- Create basic graphic design assets, carousels, social media posts, and story layouts while following brand guidelines.
- Ensure all content is visually consistent, engaging, and ready for publication.
4. Asset Management & Freelancer Coordination
- Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, design assets, and final content in a structured cloud-based database.
- Maintain an organized content library so assets can be easily accessed and reused when needed.
- Prepare clear and detailed creative briefs for external graphic designers, video editors, photographers, or other freelancers when advanced production is required.
- Coordinate with freelancers to ensure deliverables meet the required creative direction, quality standards, and deadlines.
5. Collaboration & Content Execution
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager and other internal teams to execute the content calendar.
- Take ownership of assigned content projects from concept development through final delivery.
- Proactively identify opportunities for new content formats, trends, and creative approaches.
- Translate abstract ideas into practical and actionable content independently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Indonesian.
- Able to write professional scripts, captions, and marketing copy in both languages.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable communicating with internal teams, doctors, and external partners.
Experience
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a Content Creator, Content Specialist, Social Media Specialist, Copywriter, or in a similar role.
- Experience in healthcare, medical, wellness, or professional services is a plus.
- Fresh graduates with a strong and relevant portfolio may also be considered.
- Strong copywriting and scriptwriting skills.
- Proficiency in short-form video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Comfortable with smartphone photography and videography.
- Familiarity with social media trends and short-form content formats.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Creative and able to develop ideas into engaging content.\
- Proactive, independent, and able to take ownership of tasks.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and understanding of social media content.
- Willing to learn, experiment, and continuously improve content quality.
- A portfolio is required (Must submit samples of scriptwriting/copywriting along with video editing or design samples).
