Job description for Content Podcast Producer Freelance at Talenesia

Deskripsion

We're looking for a Freelance Podcast Producer who is ready to build from scratch — someone who can set up production systems, lead recording sessions, and consistently deliver high-quality audio and short-form video content for Biznesia. You will work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager to shape the podcast's production workflow, quality standards, and content pipeline from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and document the end-to-end podcast production workflow (pre-production, recording, post-production, and publishing SOP) from scratch
  • Lead and manage recording sessions — coordinating with hosts, guests, and the creative team to ensure smooth execution
  • Record, and produce podcast episodes with clean audio quality, including music, transitions, and sound design aligned with Biznesia's brand tone
  • Produce 2–4 short-form video clips or Reels per episode from existing podcast footage — selecting the best moments and adapting them for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Ensure consistent episode pacing, audio leveling, noise reduction, and overall sound quality across all published content
  • Manage episode uploads and scheduling across podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.) and coordinate with the content team for distribution
  • Maintain an organized archive of raw files, final exports, and project assets
  • Communicate proactively on timelines, blockers, and deliverable status to the Brand & Marketing Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a podcast producer, audio engineer, or content producer in a digital media environment
  • Proven experience handling podcast production end-to-end: recording, and publishing (portfolio required)
  • Able to set up and document production workflows and SOPs independently
  • Strong attention to audio detail: leveling, noise reduction, pacing, and sound consistency
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Communicative, reliable, and proactive — able to flag issues early without being prompted

Nice to Have / Preferred:

  • Experience producing podcast or video content in the business, finance, or entrepreneurship niche
  • Familiar with podcast hosting platforms: Spotify for Podcasters, Anchor, Buzzsprout, or similar
  • Experience producing or clipping short-form video content from long-form recordings
  • Basic understanding of the Indonesian SME/UMKM landscape and business content trends
  • Comfortable collaborating with a small, fast-moving team with evolving briefs and priorities
