Job description for Content Marketing Specialist at Motion The Agency
We’re looking for a Content Marketing & SEO Specialist who can research, write, and help shape how our content performs across search and our website.
This role will start as a project-based opportunity, with the potential to become a full-time position for the right person.
We’re preferably looking for someone based in Bali who can collaborate closely with our team and work together on content strategy, SEO, and website improvements.
Required Skills:
- Fluent in English
- Strong content writing and copywriting skills
- Ability to conduct independent research and turn insights into high-quality content
- Marketing background with an understanding of B2B, SaaS, or technology industries
- SEO knowledge, including keyword research, search intent, on-page optimisation, and content planning
- Understanding of website structure, content hierarchy, user journeys, and conversion-focused pages
- Ability to create content briefs, outlines, and recommendations based on SEO and marketing goals
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to fact-check information
- Ability to collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams
- Understanding of CMS platforms and website workflows (content management, not technical deployment)
Nice to Have:
- Experience writing for B2B SaaS, technology, or creative agencies
- Experience creating landing pages, case studies, blogs, and marketing resources
- Basic understanding of UX principles and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
