Job description for Content Editor & Social Media Assistant at Melts Indonesia
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.
- Assist in documenting daily activities, events, meetings, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Support content production by helping record videos and capture content when needed.
- Organize and manage content files, footage, and content calendars.
- Monitor content performance and provide basic analysis and recommendations.
- Research social media trends, content ideas, and viral formats relevant to the brand and personal branding.
- Collaborate closely with the Director to develop engaging and consistent content.
- Support social media growth initiatives through content optimization and audience engagement ideas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in content editing, social media management, or content creation (Fresh Graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply).
- Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current social media trends.
- Able to create fast-paced, engaging, and high-retention video content.
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working closely with founders, business owners, or public-facing individuals.
- Strong communication skills and able to understand content direction quickly.
- Familiar with social media analytics and content performance metrics.
- Photography and videography skills are a plus.

Contract or Full-Time
Hybrid Working (WFO & WFA)
Flexible working arrangement based on content production schedule
Full-Time Salary: Up to UMR (based on experience and qualifications)
