Job description for Construction Supervisor at Habitat For Humanity Indonesia
Yayasan Habitat Kemanusiaan Indonesia is looking for motivated applicants Socializing the HFH program to target groups; empowering target group communities to alleviate poverty in their areas holistically especially those related to construction, infrastructure development; and/or handling housing according to the vision and mission of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Constructing buildings, supervising the work of builders and contractors, checking materials, making RAB, etc.
- Socializing of the HFH program in target communities.
- Empowering community committees and community members to advocate for assistance, training and empowerment from.
- Work with Community Organizer to empower communities in construction, infrastructure development, and disaster management.
- Designing projects to address issues related to construction as well as regional infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering / architecture major.
- Preferably to have a minimum of 1 year’s work experience in the construction field.
- Ability in using CAD program or other program software related to design/construction.
- Able to work effectively and independently.
- Ability good communication skills.
- Ability good leadership skills.
- Have capacity to develop HFH program.
- Able commitment to practice the principles of HFH.
- Have high integrity and honesty.
- Have knowledge in whole construction of simple house aspects.
- Domicile in Yogyakarta Area.
