Job description for Construction Site Supervisor at Nala Clean Group
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Oversee the installation and construction of Light Gauge Steel (LGS) structural systems, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and work schedules to ensure accurate execution.
• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports and maintain proper project documentation.
• Manage workforce productivity, material usage, and equipment on-site.
• Support project planning and provide recommendations to improve construction efficiency.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or in a similar site management role.
• Experience with Light Gauge Steel (LGS) construction is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in conventional construction and a willingness to learn LGS systems are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, building regulations, and site safety standards.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work on-site and travel between project locations as required.
• Possess a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and construction plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and project management software is an advantage.
