Job description for Construction Project Manager at Rentaved
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager – Construction to take ownership of the development and delivery of a 41-room boutique hotel in Nuanu, Bali.
Located within Nuanu’s approximately 44-hectare creative destination, this is an opportunity to lead a premium hospitality project and work closely with the Owner, architects, consultants, QS, contractors and site team from redesign through completion and handover.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on Project Manager role for someone who wants to own the outcome, not simply coordinate meetings and reports.
You will be responsible for keeping the project moving across Programme, Budget, Quality and Safety, while managing contractors, consultants and the wider project team.
You’ll need to make decisions, identify problems early, challenge performance and turn plans into measurable progress.
WHAT YOU'LL LEAD
- Lead day-to-day project execution from redesign through handover.
- Own the project programme, critical path, risks and overall delivery.
- Coordinate Architecture, Structure, MEP, QS, consultants and contractors.
- Manage multiple contractors and project scopes working in parallel.
- Monitor budget, committed costs, variations and cost-to-complete.
- Lead tendering, procurement and contractor performance.
- Identify and resolve design, technical and construction coordination issues.
- Drive QA/QC and HSE compliance.
- Build and manage an efficient, accountable site team.
- Provide clear and regular progress reporting to the Project Owner.
- Drive the project toward target completion and hotel opening.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–7+ years of construction or project management experience.
- Proven experience personally delivering comparable construction projects.
- Hotel/hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in mixed-use or high-end residential projects will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of Construction, Architecture, Structure and MEP coordination.
- Strong project planning, scheduling and critical path management skills.
- Experience with budget, procurement, variations and cost control.
- Strong QA/QC and HSE knowledge.
- Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- MS Project and Excel proficiency preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and ownership mindset.
WORKING AT NUANU BALI
This role is suited to a practical, accountable Project Manager who is comfortable working in a fast-moving development environment.
You’ll work with a lean team and are expected to stay close to the project, communicate issues early and focus on solutions and execution.
