Job description for Compliance Officer at PT Ameya Livingstyle Indonesia
- Bachelor’s degree from any major (preferably Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Strategy, or Project Management)
- Min. 3 years of experience as Compliance Officer in garment industry
- Experienced or familiar with Better Work Indonesia, WRAP, BSCI, SLCP, and other sustainability audit certifications
- General understanding of garment industry and in-depth understanding of manufacturing industry, labour, health & safety, environment, and energy regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to relate well with people at all levels of leadership and good service orientation
- Willing to be placed in Bantul, Yogyakarta
About the company
PT Ameya Livingstyle Indonesia, established in year 2006, started the project by purchasing land in the City of Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta which has a reputation for being a centre of education, availability of skilled manpower combined with a low minimum wage and close access to the seaport in the city of Semarang made it an ideal choice to start manufacturing facility.
The part one of the project was finished in year 2007 and production started in year 2008. The second part of the construction started in Year 2008 with an intention to add additional Production capacity, Sample room, Laundry, Water treatment, Printing and Embroidery facilities.
