Indonesia Web3 Compliant Exchange Partner Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a business growth leader with strong Web3 industry experience, solid compliance awareness, and strong localization capabilities to drive partnership growth in the Indonesian market.

This role will be responsible for user growth strategy, growth product initiatives, conversion funnel optimization, user segmentation management, campaign conversion mechanisms, and partnership channel performance management. The core objective is to drive growth in new users, funded users, first-time traders, retained users, and overall trading volume.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payment Channel Partnerships

Lead business negotiations and technical integrations with Indonesian local payment providers such as GoPay, OVO, Dana, LinkAja, bank transfer services, QRIS, and other payment ecosystems to ensure low-cost, highly successful, and compliant deposit/withdrawal channels.

2. Business Ecosystem Expansion

Develop and manage strategic partnerships with Indonesian companies, including but not limited to Flip, Fazza, Oppo, Doku, Huawei, Motion Pay, and other ecosystem partners to increase brand exposure and user conversion.

3. Institutional & Project Partnerships

Collaborate with local compliant funds, market makers, project teams (such as token listings and Launchpad projects), blockchain media, and industry associations such as ASP KRYPTO to drive co-marketing campaigns, liquidity partnerships, and asset listing opportunities.

4. Competitor Partnership Monitoring

Continuously monitor competitors such as Pintu, Tokocrypto, Indodax, and Bybit Indonesia business partnership strategies and channel developments, identify differentiated opportunities, and regularly provide market analysis reports.

Requirements

1. Industry Experience & Local Network

Minimum 3 years of business development or partnership experience in Indonesian fintech, Web3 exchanges, or payment institutions.

Strong existing network with payment providers, KOLs, institutional partners, or ecosystem stakeholders in Indonesia. (Case studies/examples required.)

2. Bilingual & Compliance Knowledge

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia with strong business negotiation capabilities.

Familiar with Bappebti Regulation No. 5/2019 and subsequent crypto asset regulations, particularly regarding marketing, referral, rebate, and agency compliance boundaries.

3. Business Negotiation & Contract Management

Ability to independently handle partnership negotiations, agreement drafting, and technical integration coordination.

Strong understanding of rebate models, API integration logic, and minimum guarantee requirements.

4. Data-Driven Decision Making

Proficient in Excel or basic BI tools to evaluate partnership ROI and user conversion performance, and optimize partnership budget allocation accordingly.

5. Adaptability & Crisis Handling

Ability to adapt quickly to regulatory and market changes impacting partnership channels.

Experience handling emergency situations such as temporary payment channel disruptions and negotiating backup solutions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. Effective Partnership Channels & Contribution

Achieve ≥X new stable business partnerships per quarter, with each channel contributing ≥Y% of total funded trading volume.

2. New Trading Users from Partnerships

Drive monthly first-time trading users and trading volume through partnership channels while maintaining customer acquisition cost (CAC) within budget targets.

3. Partnership Compliance Success Rate

Ensure zero legal rejection or regulatory inquiry caused by non-compliant partnership agreements, and maintain 100% annual partner due diligence completion.

4. Institutional & Project Partnership Execution

Successfully launch ≥X new asset partnerships (Launchpad or exclusive listings) or onboard ≥Y market makers/funds each quarter, while improving overall platform liquidity by Z%.

5. Partnership Conversion & Retention

Maintain partnership channel user registration-to-first-deposit conversion rate ≥A% and next-month retention rate ≥B%, while ensuring channel ROI (trading fees generated vs. partnership cost) ≥C.
