Job description for Community & Events Assistant Manager at PADI Padel Club
Key Responsibilities
- Build, activate, and manage a growing community of regular players, primarily within Binus University and surrounding student groups
- Plan and execute a diverse events calendar — social play sessions, tournaments, leagues, game nights, and brand activations
- Develop and manage partnerships with Binus student organizations, campus departments, corporate groups, and lifestyle brands
- Collaborate with the academy coaching team to design creative training packages tailored to students and beginners
- Drive court bookings and club revenue through community programming; track and report occupancy impact to Club Manager
- Own and grow PADI's social media presence (Instagram, TikTok) in coordination with external marketing partners
- Recruit and manage a campus ambassador network to extend PADI's reach across Binus University faculties
- Develop and pitch sponsorship and collaboration proposals to brands aligned with PADI's youth and lifestyle positioning
- Continuously gather community feedback to iterate on events and programs, maximizing engagement and return visits
Requirements
- Experience in event management, community marketing, or campus activation (minimum 1 year, or strong project portfolio)
- Strong existing network within Binus University or the broader Jakarta student/young professional community
- Creative and entrepreneurial mindset — you think in activations, not just activities
- Excellent social skills: comfortable speaking to groups, pitching to partners, and representing a brand publicly
- Experience managing social media accounts with a results-oriented, growth-focused approach
- Self-motivated and proactive — able to generate ideas and execute independently
- Passion for sport, active lifestyle, and padel culture
- Binus University alumni is a strong plus; demonstrated involvement in campus organizations is valued
