Position: Communications Executive

About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and communicative Communications Executive to join our team. As UKU operates in a heavily regulated financial industry, this role requires prudence, accuracy, and a strong understanding of compliance in all forms of public communication. This position is highly suitable for individuals with a strong communications background who are strategic in safeguarding the company's reputation, while remaining creative and strictly compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Public & Media Relations:
- Build, maintain, and expand networks with media partners and journalists creatively and cost-effectively.
- Prepare press releases, talking points, and other supporting documents to assist the Board of Directors (BOD) in safely and strategically responding to media inquiries.
- Initiate and execute media events such as Press Conferences and Media Gatherings.
- Conduct regular media monitoring to track public sentiment and company-related publications.
- Ensure all media statements and publications are fully aligned with industry regulations (OJK guidelines) and internal company policies.
Digital, Content & Marketing:
- Lead the end-to-end Event Management process for both internal and external company events.
- Actively manage and plan content for the company's Social Media platforms.
- Create sharp and engaging copywriting for digital ads, organic content, and promotional materials, while strictly adhering to applicable regulatory boundaries.
Versatility & Ad-hoc Initiatives:
- Possess excellent public speaking skills and be willing to act as an MC (Master of Ceremony) or moderator for various company events.
- Remain flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc communication projects and support cross-functional initiatives as directed by Management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) specifically in Communication Studies (Public Relations, Journalism, or Broadcasting majors are highly preferred).
- At least 1 year of working experience in Corporate Communications, PR, or Marcomm.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (such as Fintech, Banking, Insurance, or other financial institutions) is a significant advantage.
- Possess a strong network or database of national and local media/journalists.
- Outgoing, confident in public speaking, and accustomed to hosting events (experience as an MC is a plus).
- Ability to write compelling copywriting with a keen eye for legal and regulatory details (please attach a portfolio).
- Agile, detail-oriented, and ready to be hands-on in a fast-paced business environment.
- Currently residing in or willing to relocate to an area near Puri, West Jakarta for a reasonable daily commute.
