Role Description
The Coal Sales & Commercial Compliance Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based at our Head Office in Subang, West Java. This role is responsible for driving coal sales opportunities while managing end-to-end regulatory compliance, licensing, and documentation through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM/Minerba) systems. Day-to-day tasks include handling ESDM/Minerba platform operations (e-SMDB, MODI, MOMS), ensuring valid RKAB documentation, managing complete transhipment and shipping documentation (such as SKAB, Surveyor Certificates COA/COI, and Port Clearances), and coordinating with coal buyers, jetty operators, and regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate must possess deep practical knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and coal trading documentation, be available to join immediately, and be fully willing to relocate to Subang.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Marine/Maritime Studies (Kelautan / Pelayaran), Mining Engineering, Law, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Willing to relocate to work full-time on-site at the Head Office in Subang, West Java.
- Minimum 1–3 years of proven working experience in Coal Sales, Mining Business Development, Commercial Compliance, or Marine Shipping Administration.
- Hands-on experience in handling marine/shipping permits, barge clearance procedures, port agency coordination, and vessel documentation.
- ESDM & Minerba System Expertise: Practical proficiency with ESDM/Minerba portals, specifically e-SMDB, MODI, MOMS, and RKAB filing/monitoring processes.
- In-depth knowledge of coal transhipment documentation, including Surat Keterangan Asal Barang (SKAB), Surveyor Inspection Reports (COA/COI), Jetty Loading Permits, and Shipping/Barge Clearances.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial communication, and administrative accuracy. Strong ability to interface effectively with buyers, vessel/barge agencies, port authorities, and government bodies.
- Direct experience working in Coal Hauling, Marine Shipping/Agency, Mining Concessions (IUP), or Coal Trading Companies.
