Operates and optimizes cloud platforms to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and cost-effective infrastructure services.
Responsibilities:
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application teams
* Manage compute, storage, networking, and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
* Implement and test high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
* Monitor utilization and optimize performance and cloud costs
* Enforce security controls and cloud hardening standards
Technical Qualification
Strong understanding of:
- Cloud infrastructure architecture (Compute, Storage, Networking)
- Virtualization and container concepts
- Load balancer and autoscaling configuration
Hands-on experience with:
- Terraform deployment
- CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP or equivalent private cloud)
- VM, storage, and network troubleshooting
- Log analysis and monitoring tools
- Performance tuning and capacity management
- Infrastructure deployment and configuration changes
Familiar with:
- Infrastructure as Code (basic understanding is a plus)
- ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Security hardening and patch management
