Job description for Civil Structural at Balimmo Villa Management
Responsibilities
Plan, analyze, and develop structural designs for various types of buildings, including houses/villas.
Design and calculate structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, and other concrete, steel, or composite structural systems.
Ensure all structural designs comply with SNI, applicable construction regulations, project specifications, and engineering standards.
Prepare structural calculations, working drawings, shop drawing revisions, technical documents, and project reports.
Review and revise structural drawings and shop drawings as required during project execution.
Coordinate technical matters with architects, MEP engineers, interior designers, contractors, construction teams, and project managers.
Supervise structural works on-site to ensure construction is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Conduct quality control on structural works, construction materials, and implementation methods to ensure compliance with project standards.
Monitor project progress and prepare periodic structural progress reports.
Control structural work costs and improve work efficiency while maintaining quality and safety.
Ensure structural works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project objectives.
Provide technical support and resolve structural issues arising during construction.
Requirements
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, preferably with a concentration in Structural Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design, construction, or property/developer projects.
Technical Competencies
Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures.
Proficient in structural calculation and engineering principles.
Able to prepare structural calculations, technical reports, working drawings, and drafting documents.
Able to read, interpret, and revise technical drawings and shop drawings.
Familiar with SNI standards and applicable construction regulations.
Knowledge of construction methods, quality control procedures, and site supervision.
Software Skills
Proficient in:
AutoCAD
ETABS
SAP2000
Revit Structure
SketchUp
STAAD Pro (preferred)
Microsoft Project
Other relevant structural engineering software is an advantage.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
High integrity, disciplined, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Willing to work on project sites assigned by the company.
Additional Qualifications
Building Construction Competency Certificate is an advantage.
Experience in property/developer projects is an advantage.
