Civil Engineer – Structural
Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects
- Calculate structural loads, stress, and construction requirements
- Develop structural models and simulations using engineering software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro
- Select appropriate construction materials based on safety, efficiency, and project requirements
- Ensure structures comply with safety standards against earthquakes, wind loads, and environmental conditions
- Supervise construction activities to ensure implementation aligns with approved drawings and quality standards
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings (DED) using AutoCAD or BIM software
- Prepare structural calculation reports and technical specifications for contractors and project stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in structural design and/or construction projects
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and engineering standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar software
- Familiar with BIM and detailed engineering drawings (DED)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Willing to visit or be assigned to project sites when required
