Job description for City Operations Lead - SPX Express (Kab. Asahan, Sumatera Utara) at PT Nusantara Ekspres Kilat (Shopee Express)
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for health, safety, and environment (HSE) implementation and ensure people safety within assigned city(s)
- Lead and manage day to day overall operations including First Mile, Sortation Center, Middle Mile & Last Mile within the assigned province(s)
- Responsible for cost per parcel (CPP) within the assigned city(s)
- Ensure the Operations team follow the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Work Instructions (WI)
- Responsible to achieve target that aligned with company goals and objectives
- Responsible to coach & develop team members based on company standard Learning & Development guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from any major
- 5 years of experience in an express or logistics company, with experience overseeing multiple areas or regions
- Strong understanding of end-to-end transport operations (First Mile, Middle Mile, Sortation Center, and Last Mile), along with project and team management experience
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills (familiarity in Kaizen and Lean practices would be an advantage)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Hands-on leadership style, leading by example and actively supporting operational solutions on the ground
- Familiar with Transport or Freight Management Systems (TMS/FMS) is an advantage
- Willing to be placed in Kec. Kota Kisaran Barat, Kab. Asahan, Sumatera Utara and travel to other cities or regions as needed
