Job description for CHIEF ACCOUNTANT at Hotel Louis Kienne Pandanaran
We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our team and play an important role in strengthening our financial operations and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Chief Accountant or Assistant Chief Accountant in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, AP, AR, Income Audit, Cost Control, Taxation, Budgeting & Cash Flow.
- Proficient in VHP Cloud Hotel System.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all Accounting Department operations.
- Ensure daily and monthly closing processes are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and other supporting reports.
- Monitor and control Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Cashier, Income Audit, Cost Control, and Inventory functions.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, accounting standards, and applicable tax regulations.
- Conduct cost analysis, maintain internal controls, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Financial Controller, external auditors, and all Heads of Department regarding financial reporting requirements.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
