Chef de Partie (Pre-Opening Team) – Cafe Dasa Sanur

About Us:

Cafe Dasa Sanur is proud to be part of Pulau Projects, a Bali-based hospitality collective crafting timeless experiences and meaningful spaces rooted in people, culture, and connection. Driven by local talent, shaped by Bali, and shared with the world, we are now building our dream pre-opening team for our newest cafe concept in Sanur.

We are looking for a passionate, organized, and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to run their assigned station with pride and help us deliver exceptional culinary experiences from day one.

Job Description:

  • Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen station, ensuring all prep work is completed efficiently before service.
  • Cook and present dishes according to established recipes, presentation standards, and portion controls set by the Head Chef/Sous Chef.
  • Assist the kitchen leadership in setting up the section, organizing inventory, testing recipes, and preparing for the Grand Opening.
  • Monitor stock levels within your station, minimize food waste, and report shortage of ingredients timely.
  • Supervise and guide commis and cooks working in your section to ensure consistency and speed.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices at your station at all times.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Demi Chef or CDP in a busy Cafe, Restaurant, or Hotel.
  • Highly skilled in a specific kitchen section (Hot & Cold Kitchen ) and possess excellent knife skills and cooking techniques.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and can maintain consistency even during peak rush hours.
  • Have a positive attitude, a strong team spirit, and a desire to grow within a creative kitchen environment.
  • Flexible with scheduling (shifts, weekends, and holidays) and are currently based in Bali (preferably near Sanur or Denpasar).
