Job description for CHEF DE PARTIE (JAPANESE CUISINE) at Made's Warung Jakarta

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within Japanese restaurants or the hospitality industry
  • Solid understanding of fundamental Japanese cooking techniques (sushi, sashimi, grilling, and tempura)
  • Ability to maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation in line with company standards
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic leadership skills with the ability to support and guide junior kitchen team members
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and passionate about Japanese cuisine
  • Willingness to work on a shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays
