Job description for Category and Sourcing Executive at Eezee Ptd Ltd
Job Overview
The Category & Sourcing Executive reports to the Category & Sourcing Lead and is responsible for supporting the commercial growth of Eezee through active prospecting, onboarding small to medium local enterprises and maintaining key supplier relationships.
Job Interactions & Interface:
This role interacts with internal staff: Seller Team, Supply Chain, Client Services, Marketing, Tech, Product and Sales Team.
This role reports to: Head of Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends, pricing, and product availability.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on their ability to meet clients' product specifications, quality standards, and pricing requirements.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with suppliers to secure competitive pricing while maintaining product quality.
- Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation and sourcing strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless end-to-end execution of category and sourcing related activities.
- Stay informed about competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market dynamics, providing recommendations for maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements
- Proficient in English
- Prefer to have an category experience in PPE/Spare parts
- 2-3 years of experience in sourcing
