Job description for cashier at Milk And Madu
As a Cashier at The Common Uluwatu, you will be responsible for handling daily cashiering operations, ensuring accurate transactions, and providing excellent service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily cash and non-cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Process guest payments through cash, credit/debit cards, and other available payment methods.
- Prepare and verify bills, receipts, and payment records.
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and balanced at the end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate cash float and conduct cash reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the Floor and Finance teams regarding payments, discounts, voids, refunds, and other transaction-related matters.
- Follow company procedures and internal controls related to cash handling.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests when handling payments.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities to the Supervisor or Management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
- Perform other cashier-related duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cashier, preferably in a restaurant, hospitality, or F&B environment.
- Good numerical and basic administrative skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good command of English is an advantage.
