Job description for Cashier at PT. Magic Garden Cafe
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner at the cashier counter.
- Handle all payment transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
- Issue receipts, process refunds, and ensure the correct billing for all orders.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer, perform daily cash reconciliation, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the service and kitchen team to ensure smooth and accurate order processing.
- Keep the cashier counter clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Provide information about menu items, promotions, or ongoing offers when required.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints politely, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer data.
- Support daily restaurant operations and assist with closing duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum education High school or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Cashier in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
- Familiar with POS systems and basic accounting procedures.
- Honest, detail-oriented, and responsible in handling transactions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Team player with strong customer service focus.
- Fluent in English
