Job description for Cashier - Service at Kinoa Cafe
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently. This role includes taking orders, processing payments, serving food and beverages, assisting customers with inquiries and maintaining cleanliness of the service and cashier areas to support smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS system
- Handle cash, debit/credit card and digital payments responsibly
- Issue receipts and ensure correct billing and change
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Assist customers with payment-related inquiries and promotions
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages according to company service standards
- Ensure customer satisfaction and respond to customer requests promptly
- Clear and clean tables to maintain cleanliness of dining area
- Coordinate with kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with opening and closing operational duties
