Job description for Cambridge IGCSE Physics Teacher - Secondary GPS Bandung at Global Prestasi School
Responsibilities:
- Teach Cambridge Physics for Secondary (IGCSE) students using concept-driven and problem-solving approaches, in alignment with the Cambridge International curriculum and GPS academic standards.
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for developing physics concept understanding, application, and exam readiness.
- Prepare students for Cambridge examinations with structured practice and targeted intervention.
- Monitor student progress and provide formative feedback and assessments.
- Collaborate with teaching teams and participate in school events, curriculum discussions, and professional development programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics Education or a closely related major (Master’s degree is very acceptable).
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong classroom management skills.
- Experience teaching for junior high school, especially in international or bilingual school contexts, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Cambridge Curriculum and IGCSE examinations.
- Proficient in digital tools and online learning platforms.
- ≥ 1-2 years of Cambridge teaching experience is preferred.
An advantage if you are:
- A certified Cambridge educator.
- Experienced in preparing students for IGCSE examinations.
