Job description for Cafe Operator at Practice Tuckshop Pte Ltd
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall quality, service, product and cleanliness of the outlet
- Deliver F&B service-related duties including food preparation, drinks brewing.
- Ensure kitchen, storage and dining areas are clean and well-presented.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organisation standards and sanitation regulations.
- Process payment using the cafe’s point of sale system, maintain updated records of revenues and expenses
- Stock and refill inventory such as ingredients, update stocks and communicate when necessary to ensure inventory is not low or out.
- Address and resolve customer issues in a polite and effective manner, nurture friendly relationships with customers
- May be required to undertake other related tasks when necessary
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Good customer service, willing to learn, friendly and honest
- Responsible and responsive, able to work independently
- Familiarity with basic Microsoft Excel and mobile applications.
- Working hours: 10am-6pm (Tuesdays to Saturdays).
- Career development and training will be provided.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in cafes, restaurants or service industries
- Basic knowledge of cooking (ability to create dishes an added advantage)
- Ability to start work immediately
- Interest in the arts
