Role Overview
This role will provide vital support to lead brand acquisition and partnerships in the FMCG category. The position will also play a key role in identifying high-potential FMCG brands, onboarding them onto the Baskit platform, and building long-term strategic relationships that drive mutual growth. This role will expand our portfolio of strategic brand partnerships as well. The position sits at the intersection of business development, category management, and execution excellence as it drives the acquisition, onboarding, and growth of brands. The ideal candidate is data-driven and commercially sharp with a proven track record of converting relationships into measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, approach, and onboard FMCG brands (local & international) to the Baskit platform.
* Build strong value propositions to attract high-quality brands by showcasing Baskit's distribution capabilities, reach, and tech-driven advantage.
* Manage end-to-end brand onboarding: pricing, supply chain alignment, catalog digitization, and go-to-market strategy.
* Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, tech) to ensure smooth execution of brand launches and ongoing performance.
* Analyze brand performance, identify growth levers, and drive revenue targets in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
* Act as the category expert for FMCG – staying on top of trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
* Negotiate commercial terms, MOUs, and performance-based agreements with brand partners.
What We're Looking For
* 3–7 years of experience in Brand Acquisition, Category Management, Buyer, or Key Account roles, preferably in FMCG or e-commerce/distribution startups.
* Strong network and understanding of the FMCG ecosystem in Indonesia.
* Proven track record of onboarding and managing B2B or brand partnerships.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and drive initiatives from scratch.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
* Good understanding of FMCG and brands.
* Willing to travel frequently across clients and customers.
