OBC Indonesia is expanding its team and looking for talented, ambitious and business-minded professionals who can help us identify and develop real business opportunities in Indonesia for local and international investors.

We are looking to hire 2–3 team members for our Business Research & Opportunity Development Team.

🔹 What Will You Do?

Your main responsibility will be to research, analyze and develop potential businesses in Indonesia and convert them into complete, practical investment packages that can be presented to our clients.

Examples include:

💈 Barber Shop / Salon

🚗 Car Wash / Detailing

🧺 Laundry Business

🍽️ Restaurant / Food Business

🏋️ Gym / Fitness Studio

🎮 Gaming Café / Entertainment

🏪 Retail & Franchise Opportunities

🏭 Small Manufacturing Businesses

📦 Import / Export Opportunities

🌴 Agriculture & Agro-based Businesses

💻 E-commerce & Digital Businesses

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Identify profitable and realistic business opportunities in Indonesia

• Conduct market and competitor research

• Visit businesses, suppliers, factories and commercial locations when required

• Find equipment, raw materials, furniture and other suppliers

• Collect supplier quotations and compare prices

• Research rental, renovation, licensing and operational costs

• Calculate estimated startup investment

• Prepare estimated monthly operating costs

• Research potential revenue and profit margins

• Identify risks and challenges

• Develop different investment models — Low / Medium / Premium

• Create complete business setup packages for clients

• Prepare presentations, Excel costing sheets and business proposals

• Continuously monitor new business trends and opportunities in Indonesia

If we identify a Café Business Opportunity, you should be able to research and prepare:

✅ Licensing requirements

The same approach will be applied to Barber Shops, Car Washes, Laundries and other businesses.

🔹 Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for people who are:

• Business-minded and highly curious

• Good at research and finding information

• Strong in Excel / Google Sheets

• Good at communicating with suppliers and business owners

• Comfortable making phone calls and visiting businesses

• Good at costing and basic financial analysis

• Able to prepare professional presentations

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia

• Good English communication is a strong advantage

• Experience in Business Development, Market Research, Sourcing, Procurement, Consulting or Entrepreneurship is preferred

Fresh graduates with strong business knowledge and a “problem-solving” mindset are also welcome to apply.
