A Business Development role is crucial for a company's long-term growth and success. It's a strategic and operational function focused on identifying and cultivating new opportunities to expand the business, increase revenue, and build sustainable value.
What you'll Do:
- Identifying and targeting new markets and potential clients for the carbon management platform
- Developing strategies to attract and acquire new clients, including tailored pitches and presentations
- Leading the sales team in executing business development strategies
- Designing and implementing sales plans to meet and exceed business targets
- Establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Collaborating with partners to develop joint ventures or co-marketing strategies that enhance platform adoption
- Driving revenue growth through effective business development strategies and client acquisition
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and working to maintain long-term client relationships
- Conducting thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities or threats
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and environmental policies that could impact the carbon management sector
What We're looking for:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience selling IT products & services , Carbon Management
- Bachelor's Degree: Often preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Have an experience working in IT Consultant or Consulting Firm.
- Having knowledge of carbon and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) is a plus.
- The candidate should be a fast learner, hardworking, able to handle multiple tasks
- Posses exceptional and effective verbal and communication skills
- Active listener and effective communicator
- Able to close business deals
- Highly motivated and has never say die attitude
- Does not crack under pressure especially in meeting targets
- Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English.
