About The Role
Rica Rico Bakery is currently looking for a Business Development professional who is capable of identifying and unlocking new opportunities for store expansion in strategic locations. This role will play a key part in establishing B2B partnerships and ensuring that the company’s expansion initiatives are executed effectively to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and site analysis to identify potential locations such as malls, office areas, rest areas, and high-traffic commercial spaces
- Identify, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with mall management, property developers, corporate clients, and other business partners
- Manage the end-to-end partnership process, including approach, negotiation, and deal closing for new store openings or distribution channel collaborations
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation of expansion projects
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing locations and partnerships
- Provide insights and recommendations for future expansion strategies and business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Expansion, B2B Sales, or Partnership roles
- Proven experience in handling external partnerships with malls, retail spaces, corporate clients, or related stakeholders
- Strong market analysis and site selection capabilities
- Ability to prepare partnership proposals and business cases
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Having a network within malls, property developers, or commercial property industries will be an advantage
- Prior experience in the F&B or retail industry is preferred
