Job description for Business Development at PT Transforce Digital Indonesia
About the role
You will be responsible for expanding the merchant network, managing strategic relationships, and driving growth in transaction volume (Gross Transaction Value) and company revenue in the digital payment/fintech industry as a Business Development Specialist.
Key responsibilities
- Search, prospect, and close cooperation agreements with new merchants from various segments (E-commerce, Corporate, SME, and Digital Platforms)
- Achieve Gross Transaction Value (GTV) and revenue (MDR) targets from the merchant portfolio managed
- Develop strategic relationships with existing merchants to increase transaction volume through up-selling and cross-selling of other payment products
- Respond to and resolve merchant requests in accordance with Service Level Agreement and maintain merchant Retention Rate
- Monitor and support the merchant onboarding process by coordinating with the IT team to ensure technical integration runs smoothly and on time
- Monitor market dynamics, MDR rate changes, competitor strategies, and trends in new payment methods periodically
About you
- Minimum S1 education in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management (preferably from Payment Gateway, Fintech, or Banking industry)
- Extensive network of relationships in E-commerce, Corporate, and SME segments
- Accustomed to working with quantitative targets (GTV and Revenue)
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Good understanding of digital payment systems and current technology landscape
