Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with company strategy and market trends
- Develop and implement business development strategies to penetrate new markets and customer segments
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, clients and stakeholders across the energy sector
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business development initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive business proposals and presentations for prospective clients and partners
- Negotiate commercial terms and agreements to secure new business contracts
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, finance and marketing to execute business development projects
- Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline progress and revenue impact
- Attend industry events, conferences and networking functions to identify growth opportunities
What we're looking for
- Proven track record in business development, new market entry or sales within the energy, oil and gas or related industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs and competitive landscapes in the energy industry
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue strategic business opportunities that deliver measurable results
- Strong analytical and research capabilities with proficiency in market assessment and financial analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in business development or sales
- Fluency in Indonesian and English languages
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities as required
