Job Description :
As a Business Development Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing partnership strategies, leading the business development team, and ensuring that sales and collaboration targets are met. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead and mentor the Business Development team to achieve targets related to prospects, partnerships, and MCCS sales.
- Approach potential business partners, such as dealers, leasing companies, cooperatives, and transportation companies for MCCS adoption.
- Explain MCCS/IoT solutions to prospective clients in simple, non-technical terms.
- Develop market penetration strategies and maintain long-term B2B and B2G partnership relationships.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market needs and trends, providing insights on sales strategies, pricing models, and product development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships, and prepare detailed reports on negotiations, prospect status, and implementation progress.
- Manage the full business development cycle, from initial prospecting, presentation, and negotiation to deal closing.
- Provide initial after-sales support, and coordinate handovers to the technical support team when necessary.
- Monitor team performance, conduct evaluations, and create weekly/monthly work plans to meet KPIs.
- Report business development activities and progress regularly to management, offering strategic recommendations for decision-making.
- Initiate and manage partner development programs, including product training, awareness sessions, or joint marketing activities.
Qualifications :
- Minimum D3/Bachelor’s degree in any major (preferably with a background or interest in technology/IoT).
- At least 1 year of experience as a Business Development Supervisor, or 3 years in sales, partnerships, or business development roles.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a small team (2–5 members).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in B2B and B2G environments.
- Results-oriented with a growth mindset and ability to work under target-driven conditions.
- Basic understanding of GPS/IoT technology is a strong advantage.
- Must be proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Having a broad network in automotive, leasing, or transportation industries is a plus.
